I'm on my second year majoring in kinesiology! I'm proud of how far I have come with my schooling so far, I have worked long strenuous months on my education and I don't plan to stop any time soon. I want to one day own my own practice!
I have a bachelors degree in sociology and I'm currently enrolled in graduate school to get my masters in social work. I would ultimately like to get a degree in English and become an Editor for YA or Romantic/fantasy novels.
So far I've only completed a bachelor of social work because I'm super passionate about helping others and I want to work with troubled young men! I studied hard and stayed committed and I'm an all-round resilient intelligent woman I can do anything!
Although I haven't gotten into my careeer yet since I'm still in school, something that's helped me land many internships and other paid opportunities is networking. I loveee to meet new people and get to know their interests. Remember your network is your net worth!
One day i asked A friend where they wanted to be in 5 years and they couldn't give me a direct answer. I stopped What i was Doing quit my job and drove to a medical school and signed up because i knew Where/ why i wanted To be.
I'm a uni student, I'm studying to hopefully become a great graphic designer one day. Don't really have any tips on how to achieve success in your career, I'm still learning how to achieve my own! Just work hard I guess!
Good old school hawse piped it. Nautical speak for worked my way up the food chain. Now I'm working on a second career as a men's magazine editor-publisher while raising a son and updating a modest home. Earned grad degree while working full time to assist with that. Needless to say, I have a real hard time hearing excuses like, I'm tired or, There's just not enough time. There is if you're passionate about it. Guess that's my "how." I love what I do.
I am trying to work my way up so I can own a clothing store one day I want to let all the plus size women know they can feel comfortable an safe and be able to have some where to shop an be able to ask me if anything they try on will look absolutely gorgeous.
I've worked hard to get what I want, used my connections, and have been lucky for the rest. My luck ran out with COVID, so instead of a marketing job I've got a retail job, but I'm trying to make the best of it.
First in my family to go and graduate from university. The strength and love of my mother is my drive. I am intelligent, I am beautiful and I have a creative diverse mindset that gets me whatever I want in this life. As a true fashion professional, I finesse my way in the game haha!
My father once told me, "find a career you LOVE and you'll never 'work' another day in your life."
That sounds like a cool cliche, but it's also kinda true, b/c the amount of actual hours that's gone into my career is kinda mind blowing -- like when everyone went home, i was just getting ready for half time lol.... and yet I can't ever recall saying "gee I wish this work day would be over soon."
I have worked very diligently, in my craft. I am an OVER Achiever and I am Very Excellent what I do. I take the same approach in my Personal Relationships. i am very Successful, well accomplished and determined.
I have achieved my success in my career by consistent hard work. My determination in being successful in my career has been relentless. My career has been me walking in my purpose and enjoying knowing it for years.
I achieved my success but working hard nonstop. Nobody pushed myself more than myself, it took a lot of risks and trial and error . It also takes a lot of discipline , time and effort. I'm on here to invest in myself even more , grow , become bigger and we can both be successful
